Description:

Steel rule water level gauge is the most accurate method to measure water level. It is usually used to measure water level in Wells, boreholes and water level pipes. It is especially suitable for the observation of groundwater level in hydropower projects or the manual inspection of the dam saturation line of earth rock dam. The instrument can be used during construction and can also be used for long-term safety monitoring of the project.

Users must pay attention to two points when reading:

(A) When the contact of the probe touches the water, the sounder will make a sound, the indicator will light up, and the voltmeter pointer will turn. At this time, the steel cable should be slowly lowered so that the exact position of the pronunciation or indication moment can be read out the depth size of the point from the hole.

(B) The accuracy of the reading is determined by the timely judgment of the buzzer or the indicated starting position, the accuracy of the measurement is related to the proficiency of the operator, so it should be repeated practice and operation.

Due to the limited battery capacity, whenever the measurement is completed, the power switch should be turned off immediately, do not forget! When replacing the battery (the battery is 9V), unscrew the battery cover and open the battery cover to replace the battery. After measurement, the probe and steel ruler cable must be wiped clean, and the steel ruler cable is neatly wound on the winding tray, and then placed in the cabinet. The probe is required to be sealed when working, and disassembly is absolutely prohibited. (Can not be placed horizontally into the water). Do not bend the measuring cable, especially near the side end, to avoid damage. The probe should be handled gently and avoid severe vibration.

The measurement of water level change consists of two parts:

1. Buried part of underground material, composed of water level pipe and bottom cover (purchased separately)

2, ground receiving instrument - steel ruler water level gauge, by the probe, steel ruler cable, receiving system and winding disk.

Probe part: made of stainless steel, the internal installation of water resistance contact point, when the contact contacts the water surface, it will be connected to the receiving system, when the contact leaves the water, it will close the receiving system.

Steel rule cable part: the steel rule and wire are combined by plastic technology, which prevents the corrosion of the steel rule, simplifies the operation process, and makes the measurement more convenient and accurate.
